Final Piece

This is my final piece. I was inspired by the artist Rob Ryan to draw and cut out images I had drawn. I then edited the images in Photoshop by adding a gradient and drop shadow. I also added a gradient to the background to create a night sky effect.

Mid-Point Draft

Here is my mid-point draft in which I have drawn my final piece.

Experiment 3

To create this experiment, I drew and painted the image in separate parts. First, I copied a portrait of a girl and then scanned the image into photoshop. I changed the levels of the drawing so that the outlines were more prominent. Next, I used water colour to paint the hair of the girl and scanned the image on top of the drawing. I then created several water colour droplets and painted the neck area. To add more water colour  droplets I duplicated some of them and changed the hue and saturation to change the colour.

Experiment 2

To create this experiment I used one of the the photos from my photo shoot and used the pen tool to cut out just her body and face so that I had no background. I then lowered the saturation so that the image turned black and white. Next, I duplicated the image and put it behind the original image. I blurred the image to create a shadow behind the image. I added a gradient using red, blue and yellow over the top of the image and shadow.  Finally,  then added a white background and added the name of the band and album name.
